Steven Spielberg's Children at Heart

One of Ron's most noteable works was the "Rock n' Roll" art commissioned by Steven Spielberg, Children at Heart, an annual event to raise money for the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear accident. Spielberg hosts the annual event and couples it with his celebrity "Lifetime Achievement Award" to bring in a star studded fundraising crowd. This particular year the Chairman was Jon Voight and the award winners were Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. The evening was a "Who's Who" of mega celebrities. Ron's art piece brought on a bidding war pitting the "Movie Celebrities" against the "Wall Street Celebrities". In the end, the Wall Street boys won as did the "Children of Chernobyl". The animatronic art piece brought in thousands of dollars.
